Theo-Mass Lexileictous is based in Limassol, Cyprus. He graduated from Central St. Martins Collage of Art and Design, London in 2008, and since then he has been working across a range of mediums, from sculpture, installation, photography to performance and film, crossing boundaries between disciplines.
Theo-Mass’ work explores a distanced and complex relationship with the environment, nature and the ephemeral, while questioning digital and physical fabrication processes in order to understand our evolving relationship to matter. His distinctive aesthetic, focuses and experiments with the sensory experience of light, space and form, exploring the ever-changing nature of materiality and the importance of things haptic in a Postdigital era.
Theo-Mass Lexileictous publishes his own zine under the title Theo-Mass Times, showcasing his collaborations with other artists, as well as his personal projects. The eighth issue of Theo-Mass Times is expected to be released in September 2021.
His work has been featured internationally in, among other, publications: Dazed and Confused, Another Magazine, CNN, ABC US, SID (in which he had his own column), FLAUNT (US), KING-KONG (DE), The Daily Lazy (GR), Gestalten’s publications and ARTETV (FR). His work has been exhibited at P3Studio Gallery (Las Vegas), Museums Quartier (Wien), La Gaite Lyrique Museum (Paris), Benaki Museum (Athens), MoBA Biennale (Arnhem), Stephen Lawrence gallery (London), Liljevalchs Konsthall (Stockholm), ATOPOS CVC (Athens), Athens Digital Arts Festival and he has had 4 solo exhibitions.
In November 2019, he presented THE ICE AGE, which consisted of a series of 6 solo exhibitions that opened at once at 6 different venues in Limassol, Cyprus.
